Accessibility

At Snorkl, we believe every student should have the opportunity to show what they know and every teacher should be able to understand and support student thinking. We are committed to making the Snorkl website and web application accessible to all users, including people with disabilities.

Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We work to build inclusive, usable experiences across our platform and to improve accessibility as our product evolves.

Snorkl aims to align with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. These guidelines help ensure digital experiences are perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust for people with a wide range of abilities.

Accessibility is part of how we design, build, test, and improve Snorkl. Our team works to incorporate accessible patterns into product development and to review key workflows for usability with assistive technologies.

Examples of accessibility practices and features include:

• Keyboard navigation and visible focus states
• Support for screen readers across key teacher and student workflows
• Clear labels, headings, and interaction patterns
• Attention to color contrast and readable visual design
• Ongoing testing and remediation of accessibility issues

Snorkl provides an Accessibility Conformance Report, often referred to as a VPAT, that summarizes our product's conformance with accessibility standards, including WCAG Level A and AA criteria.

Accessibility conformance is an ongoing process, and some areas may not yet be fully accessible. Known issues are prioritized and addressed as part of our product development and remediation work.

Some accessibility limitations may also relate to third-party services, embedded tools, or newer product experiences that are still being improved.
